Online Learning Skills for College Students

Onine Teaching Learning

Real-time remote and online learning can be hard for college students. Many community college students who are not familiar with online learning have found it difficult to transition to online (remote) learning. I teach interpersonal communication and public (virtual) speaking to community college students. Students found it hard to focus due to multi-tasking while working online and during Zoom classes.

This article from the BBC provides some advice for students, including setting up a dedicated learning space, a study schedule, and getting help from other students and the instructor: How to Actually Concentrate

What are some tips you share with your students to help them succeed in online classes?  I look forward to reading your comments!
