Therapists with BDD Group

Thank you for your interest in joining the Therapists with BDD support group!

The Therapists with BDD peer support group is facilitated by Eva Fisher, PhD. Eva has lived experience of BDD and recovered from the disorder using therapy and medication. The group is co-hosted by Jem Gunn, MBACP. Jem struggled with BDD since the age of 15 and now considers herself to be in recovery from BDD.

The Therapists with BDD support group provides a safe space for therapists to share their experiences with body dysmorphic disorder.  Names of participants and personal experiences shared during group meetings remain confidential.

The support group is open to clinicians and therapists who are licensed and/or receiving training to become a therapist. Therapists who treat any mental health disorder are welcome to join.

The group is designed to provide confidential and non-judgmental peer support, where therapists who are struggling with BDD can talk openly, connect and feel heard.

Please fill out the form below to be added to the email list for monthly meeting reminders. The group meets online via Skype on the third Thursday each month for one hour. The meetings start at 3pm EST in the US and 8:00pm GMT in the UK.
