Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) Resources

The BDD Family Book offers many helpful resources for people with BDD, their family members, friends, and loved ones. Active links to these resources are provided here, along with peer support group resources.

Here is a list of helpful resources for people with BDD (and those who love them):

I encourage people with BDD to join peer support groups to find others who understand the disorder. They provide an opportunity to share your personal experiences and to give and get peer support.

There are online BDD groups in the United States and online/in-person groups offered in the United Kingdom. More information about these support groups is available on the International OCD Foundation website (US) and the BDD Foundation website (UK).

You are welcome to sign up for email reminders about the Recovery from BDD online support group. The group meets the second and fourth Thursday each month and is free to join.

The resources provided on the Fear to Courage website are for reference only. Eva Fisher PhD has made every effort to confirm the reliability and accuracy of the resources provided. She is not liable for any errors or omissions in the resources or for any use you or others may make of the resources.
